At NAPS, we have documented safety and security plans that are submitted to and approved by Navy, and that are a requirement for our AIMS Accreditation.
In partnership with Navy, we have collaborative meetings on campus to ensure we are in agreement on safety measures and protocols. Navy Military Police Officers (MPs) will be at NAPS in under 2 minutes of an emergency call, which has been verified through a series of conducted drills. Navy MPs have a regular presence at NAPS, frequently walking our halls and campus. Representatives from Navy join us annually for staff safety training. We remain vigilant in consistently re-evaluating our security systems and protocols.
NAPS is here to support our students, our families, and our faculty and staff. We are guided by kindness and empathy, and are committed to providing a nurturing environment where all students can recognize their self-worth, build confidence, and appreciate all others as contributing members of society. We hope that our entire community will join us in this effort to make our area of the world a safer, more supportive place for all.
